I augusti 2014 fick vi tillgång till en före detta underjordisk militärbas i Rute på Gotland. Långt ner under jorden i 4 graders värme fann vi gigantiska bergrum med en otrolig akustik. Vi lånade ihop så mycket förlängningskablar vi kunde hitta. Efter att ha dragit 500 meter lång kabel ner i mörkret med enbart pannlampor som ljuskälla stod vi redo. Tillsammans improviserade vi ihop detta ljudlandskap som vi kallar för Bergrum. Siri med sin röst och Henrik på elgitarr. Allt inspelat med enbart en mikrofon.

In August 2014 we got access to a former underground military base in Rute, Gotland, Sweden. Deep underground in 4 degrees celsius we found gigantic caverns with incredible acoustics. We borrowed as much extension cables we could find. After bringing 500 meter long cable down into the dark with only head lamps as a light source we stood ready. Together we improvised this sound landscapes that we call the “Bergrum”. Siri with her voice and Henrik on guitar. All recorded with a single microphone.
